Hire a Space
The House is available for use seven days a week and has seven spaces to hire at very affordable rates.
Individuals, community groups and commercial entities can hire rooms. Have a look at the room details below and then complete the Room Booking Form to request your booking.

All our rooms have hydronic heating and fans.

Shirley Perrott Lounge
The Shirley Perrott Lounge is located off the reception area. It is a carpeted room with a wall-mounted whiteboard, three small café style tables and six chairs. It has a comfortable two-seater couch and a small children’s table and chairs. The room houses our recycling centre, food pantry, KOGO items and a small library. It is a great place to enjoy a chat and a cool drink on a hot day.

Garden Room
The Garden Room is in the new part of the House. It is a carpeted room with white walls, a wall-mounted white board and blinds. There are two lightweight foldable tables and 8 chairs. Additional tables and chairs are available to allow the room to seat 10-12 comfortably.

Rodney Snell
Function Room
The Rodney Snell Function Room is our largest room. It is used for meetings, classes and events. This room has 10 folding tables on wheels and 60 chairs. The high ceiling, large white walls and in-floor power are perfect for presentations. There is a sink in one corner of the room and a roller door storage area for tables and some chairs. The floor is vinyl and the room is air conditioned to help on warmer days.

Kitchen
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, range cooker (gas hob and electric oven) and a dishwasher. It has a central island bench, on wheels, which contains kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery. Our kitchen is classified as a Class 3 Community Group.

Undercroft
The Undercroft is a space directly under the function room. This space has new double-glazed bifold door which open up into the community garden. The concrete floor make this our ‘messy’ space that can be used for ‘messy’ activities. The undercroft is currently home to the Community Bag making project, children’s art and pottery classes.
